Then a dual graduate study course with Roeper will be an exciting possibility to create your future career. Our company, C.E. Roeper GmbH, is an importer of natural raw materials from all over the world. These products are marketed internationally to customers from the food industry, but also from other sectors such as cosmetics. Companies like Roeper participate in creating new trends in start-up food companies, for instance for vegan products based on plant proteins. In the past, we were able to source suppliers for innovative protein sources – for instance from beans and peas. And we are up to much more in the future – are you, too?
We are looking for a person that is committed and motivated to engage in dual course studies in foreign trade business management. During the practical part of your studies in our company, you will gather hands-on experience and you will be able to put theoretical university study into practice. You will for instance learn how to import “superfoods” such as Chia seeds and Quinoa from Peru, what to consider when purchasing Menthol from India, Gum Olibanum from Sudan or organic beeswax from New Zealand – and you will learn how to market all of these products to the food, cosmetic or technical industry.

Your tasks and assignments:
- Managing our customer and supplier accounts worldwide
- Preparing offers and order confirmations
- Processing payments and documents
- Supporting the team planning and attending exhibitions and other events
- Backing our finance department effecting payments, checking import documents, processing receipts and drawing-up financial analysis
- Supporting our logistics department by processing imports and exports on all transportation ways (vessel, air, truck…), processing transportation orders, coordinating deliveries and custom clearance
- Participating in our application technology (also in our own trial kitchen)
- Creating a vision for the future of our company (digitization, social media, webshop, trainee's blog…)
Your profile:
- Abitur“ (or similar) or advanced college certificate
- Interest in economics and commercial topics
- Good language skills in English and possibly another foreign language (besides German)
- Good communication and team skills
